The Government has banned the importation of Genetically Modified foods popularly known as GMOs. The ban announced by Public Health minister Beth Mugo follows growing SAFETY concerns over the consumption of GMOs.
The directive is expected to take effect immediately, a move that may see dealers of GMO products lose out.
